  At the YMCA, we serve everyone in our community, regardless of individual economic circumstances. Confidential financial aid applications are available at the Member Service Desk. Based on need, assistance is made possible through the Bear-Glasgow Family YMCA Annual Strong Kids Campaign.

Program Members
Program membership fees must be paid in full. Program members may only use our facilities to participate in registered programs or classes. Consider upgrading to a full privilege membership!

Payment Options
Electronic Funds Transfer membership fees are automatically withdrawn monthly from either your credit or debit card. If you desire the monthly draft to come out of your checking or savings instead, email us at mwall@ymcade.org. Expanded payment options include: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover in addition to checking and savings accounts.

Invoice Payment
Members can also pay fees annually. Ask a member service representative for more detailed information.

Financial Assistance
It is the philosophy of the YMCA that no person be denied membership or program participation based on their inability to pay the standard fees. Membership financial scholarships are available based upon need. For more information and to obtain an application, please visit our Member Service Desk.

POLICY INFORMATION
Change of Membership Status/Cancellation
As a YMCA member, you are not obligated by a contract. However, if your membership status needs to be changed for any reason, a 10-day notice is required.

Facilities, Programs & Services
With your full privilege membership, you receive:

• Unlimited access to all nine YMCA branches in Delaware.
• Priority registration for classes and programs at a reduced rate.
• Many volunteer opportunities.

You also become a member of the AWAY program
Membership is honored at most YMCAs across the country, free of charge or at reduced rates. Please call the YMCA you will visit before your trip or vacation to be sure they honor AWAY members. For a listing of YMCAs in the United States, call 1-800-USA-YMCA.
