Ages 6 months to 3 years
The purpose of the Parent/Child Swim Lesson Program is to provide children with the opportunity to become adjusted to the aquatic environment WITH a parent or trusted adult in the pool with them. This level uses the process of repetition, especially in songs and games, to enhance learning. To keep our pools clean and safe a plastic pant or swim diaper with snug fitting elastic at the waist and legs must be worn. No disposable diapers allowed.

Participants are introduced/reintroduced to basic water skills that are learned by having fun with songs, games and toys. Plastic training pants or non-disposable swim diapers required.

Toddler begins kicking, paddling, swimming with a cube, barbell and kickboard with parental guidance. More 1 on 1 interaction with the instructor will foster trust. Plastic training pants or non-disposable swim diapers required.

For the advanced student ready to learn basic skills in a more structured setting. Appropriate class behavior is stressed. Parent/adult must remain in the water with their student for the entire session.
