The YMCA of Delaware believes that youth sports encourage strong kids, families, and communities by placing a priority on family involvement, healthy competition, and stressing the value of participation. Team building, individual development, a positive self-image and sense of fair play and a mutual respect for others are essential components of our program. YMCA volunteers and staff work at instilling the four character values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility for every child.
