DROP IN AQUATIC FITNESS CLASSES!
• No registration required for full members! Program members must register and pay fee at front desk.
• Class length is 55 min. – please respect ending times so that each class may start as scheduled.
• In order to provide proper warm up, we encourage prompt arrival.
• In order to maintain a safe environment, we may have to limit class size. Priority will be given on first come, first serve basis.

AQUATONICS [02302]
This low intensity, low to medium impact aqua-aerobic class is
conducted in shallow water. The aerobic portion of this 55 minute
class is approximately 20 minutes long. This program is designed for
the person just beginning an exercise routine or persons with mild
physical ailments. This class improves flexibility and mobility, tones
and strengthens muscles, increases stamina and energy, and
minimizes impact on joints.

AQUARISERS [02303]
This medium intensity, medium impact aqua-aerobic class is
conducted in shallow water with a deep water portion. The aerobic
portion of this 55 minute class is approximately 25 minutes long.
This program is designed for the older adult, a person just beginning
an exercise routine, or persons with mild physical ailments.

HYDRO -PUMP [02304]
This medium to high intensity, medium to high impact aqua-aerobic class is conducted in shallow water with a deep water portion. The aerobic portion of this 55 minutes class is approximately 35 minutes long. This class conditions cardio, improves flexibility, shapes and tones muscles, and increases stamina and energy.

HYDRO -ZEN [02317]
This experience combines the best of Yoga and Tai Chi and brings them to the warm water. It is designed to increase stability, balance, core strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and mental focus. This mind-body connection happens in chest deep shallow water and is set to beautiful music. Aqua shoes are recommended. This class is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

DEEP WATER WORKOUT [02306]
This medium intensity, no impact, aqua-aerobic class is conducted in deep water. The aerobic portion of this 55 minute class varies from 35 to 45 minutes long. This program uses a buoyant belt or a pool noodle that allows participants to vertical train and to fully utilize the water’s property of natural resistance.

HYDRO -CARDIO [02318]
This class is designed to get your heart rate up and burn calories.Class includes 40 minutes of cardio work to great music, in both shallow and deeper water. A water walking warm up and a stretching cool down round out this fun class. Aqua shoes are recommended.

This class is the best of both programs. Shallow water portion: Medium intensity and medium to high impact. Deep water portion: Medium intensity and no impact. The aerobic portion of this 55 minute class is approximately 35 minutes long.

SPECIALTY WATER FITNESS

PRE -NATAL/POST-NATAL HYDRO [02503]
Pre-Post natal is a specially integrated exercise designed for the expectant mother or for the post partum woman. Water is the ideal training modality during pregnancy and may also reduce discomfort. A low and no impact cardiovascular workout is provided that improves flexibility, shapes and tones muscles, and increases stamina in preparation for delivery. After pregnancy water’s natural massage effect releases stress and the pool is a perfect environment to regain fitness and tone the body.

An exercise program in cool water designed to promote mobility and a sense of well being for those with Multiple Sclerosis or other related ailments. A medical release is required prior to the beginning of class. Class is held in the North Pool.
