Work on forms for Tae Kwon Do belt test. Students develop fitness, flexibility, strength, self-confidence, discipline, and self-defense. All classes taught by trained instructors Black Belt rank and above. Class is broken down by skill level and rank to ensure a positive experience. Register for 1 or 2 days. The more you train, the faster you advance. Advanced classes are Orange belts and above.

KARATE BELT TESTING [03713 / 03714]
Beginning students (white belts) will be tested in class free of charge. Intermediate students (yellow to brown belts) and Advanced students (black belts) will be tested outside of class and must pay the appropriate testing fee below. Head Instructor permission is required.

SOCCER TOTS [03150]
Age 4 (Must be 4 by April 2010, cannot turn 5 during the season)
This is a beginning program for 4-year olds with practice and games on Saturdays only. The program emphasizes fundamentals…teamwork…sportsmanship…and FUN!
Registration: 02/08/10-03/21/10 ($5 late fee after 03/21/10 if spots are open)
Season: April 10, 2010-June 5, 2010. April 10 will be an introduction to the team (not a game). The first week of practice will be
April 12, 2010.

SPRING YOUTH SOCCER LEAGUE [03122]
Ages 5-12
The Brandywine YMCA Soccer league is designed with an emphasis on maximum participation in a low pressure environment. All players must play at least a half of the game. Those playing in the spirit divisions will have to attend an evaluation day to qualify for the spirit division. Divisions are divided by age and sex. Practice is one night per week with games on Saturday.
• Under Age 6:: 8/1/03-7/31/04. (Age 5 can sign up for U6.)
• Under Age 8: 8/1/01-7/31/03
• Under Age 10: 8/1/99-7/31/01 (Will play games vs. outside clubs)
• Under Age 12: 8/1/97-7/31/99 (Will play games vs. outside clubs)

INSTRUCTIONAL VOLLEYBALL [03141]
Ages 8-14
This fun co-ed program will meet on Saturday afternoons only. Players will learn the fun of volleyball, a lifelong game, in a low pressure environment. Players will receive hands on instruction from seasoned volleyball coaches. One or two scrimmages with a local YMCA will be played at the Brandywine YMCA or other YMCA site.

The Brandywine YMCA along with My-Serve, Inc. proudly presents “Quick Start” tennis for children. This USTA endorsed program enables young children to grasp tennis fundamentals while having fun! The program features reduced court sizes, special tennis balls, and shorter nets and racquets to enhance the experience. Students will learn the basics of the sport of bowling. Advanced students will learn more detailed skills. Certified instructors from First State Bowling Lanes will teach the skills and etiquette of the game. Class is limited to 10 students.

BASKETBALL SKILLS PERSONAL TRAINING [03705]
Personal skills training are for players looking to improve their basketball skills. This will be an intense session designed to improve the skills of these players. Players will work on ball handling, defensive skills, shooting skills, passing skills, agility drills, and the mental part of the game. Each player must bring a basketball with his/her name on it. Ask for a packet at the front desk, complete and return it, and purchase the amount of hours you want. Someone will contact you to schedule the date(s) and times of your sessions. Sessions will be held at either the Brandywine YMCA or the Hanby Outdoor Center weather permitting. Sessions will start in Session 2.
