Kids can learn basic soccer skills, develop good character traits, and have fun! This is a 5-week instructional program that works on the basics of the game as well as the individual skills of the players. Players should have shin guards, cleats, and a water bottle.

ADVANCED INSTRUCTIONAL BASKETBALL SKILLS CLASS [03705]
Grades 4 – 8
Limited spots will be available. This class is for players with above average basketball skills. Please make sure your child is an experienced basketball player. This will be an intense session designed to improve the skills of these advanced players. Players will work on ball handling, defensive skills, shooting skills, passing skills, agility drills, and the mental part of the game. Players must be able to shoot at a 10-foot high basket and be able to dribble with a person guarding them. Each player must bring a basketball with his/her name on it. QUICK START TENNIS PROGRAM [03177]
Ages 5 – 12
The Brandywine YMCA along with My-Serve, Inc. proudly presents “Quick Start” tennis for children. This USTA endorsed program enables young children to grasp tennis fundamentals while having fun! The program features reduced court sizes, special tennis balls, and shorter nets and racquets to enhance the experience. (Location: The Eric MacCluen Golf Academy located at Boomer’s Family Fun Spot)
The Adult Golf Academy programs are designed for both the beginner golfer who would like to learn the game and the intermediate golfer who wants to improve his/her game. Golfers will be divided into levels based upon ability and skill. Classes start at the beginning of each month: June, July, and August. A missed class due to an emergency may be made up during another session within the same week.
GOLF ACADEMY - ADULT BEGINNER PROGRAM (4 sessions):
Focus on fundamentals (grip, stance, posture, full swing, and short game).

The fourth will be held at a local golf course for approximately 2 hours. Greens fees and cart are included in the price. Course will be determined by the Academy.
