The Brandywine YMCA Barracudas Swim Team is a year-round competitive swimming program that emphasizes character development, teamwork and personal growth. Our well trained and certified coaches help team members achieve their individual potential in spirit, mind and body. Swimmers are challenged to set goals and work toward them in a stimulating, fun and supportive environment.
BRY competes in both YMCA and USA Swimming meets locally, regionally and nationally. The meet schedule features varied types of competition and offers opportunities for achievement for all levels.

No Blue Practice Friday, Oct. 22 due to the Distance Meet at Brandywine Y. Junior and National swimmers will practice at their regular times. Distance Meet - Brandywine YMCA; Warmups at 5:00 pm, Meet Starts at 5:45 pm. No Snack Bar 11&O Tri Meet (Virtual Meet) Saturday, Oct. 23 at Ridley High School; BRY swimmers arrive by 7:45 am 10&U Tri Meet Saturday, Oct. 23 at Brandywine YMCA; BRY swimmers arrive by 7:50 am No Practice Saturday, Oct. 30 due to the 11&O Dual Meet at the Talbot County YMCA. No Gold, Junior or Senior Practice on Sunday, Oct. 31. White and Blue Levels will practice on their regular schedules. |
