Aquatics - Parent Child Swim Lessons

The purpose of the Parent and Child Lesson Program is to provide children with the opportunity to become adjusted to the aquatic environment WITH a parent or trusted adult in the pool with them. This level uses the process of repetition, especially in songs and games, to enhance learning. To keep our pools clean and safe a plastic pant or swim diaper with snug fitting elastic at the waist and legs must be worn. No disposable non swim diapers allowed.
Ages: 6 months – 3 years
Duration: 30 minutes
Day & Time: Saturday 10:00am -10:30 am
Fees: Full Member: $30.00 (6 Week Session)
Program Member: $60.00 (6 Week Session

SKIP
This class is an introduction to the water for infants and toddlers with their parents in the water with them. It is a fun-interactive class that uses games, song, and repetition to teach basic aquatic safety to both child and adult. Child must have head control, sit unaided with hand support and be 6 months old by the first day of class.
Ages: 6 months – 3 years with a parent

Perch
This class is for the advanced toddler who is ready to learn kicking, bubbles, floating, and jumping skills with parental help. Children will enjoy learning basic aquatic safety skills while gaining independence in the aquatic environment through the use of songs, games, toys and our flotation devices.
Ages: 2 years – 3 years with a parent
