2008 brings all new programming for families and youth members. Evenings and Saturday mornings are now designed to offer something for each member of your family. The YMCA is dedicated to getting families of all sizes and shapes active in our programs. Your suggestions for family programming (or any other programs) are welcome and encouraged. Friday Family Fun
Families of all sizes and ages are welcome!
End your busy week with a night of fun with your family at the YMCA. Bring the family straight from work, school or childcare because dinner is included. After dinner, families can select activities throughout the YMCA to try out together. We’ll provide the ideas and supplies, you supply the fun. We’ll give you ideas each week for great games that will bring your family together in the pool or gym. Hang out in the Wilmington Room after dinner to complete a family project or to play some board games. Sign up for one week or join us every Friday. (Advance registration is required. At least one adult must attend with children.)

join the Easter Bunny for a special Easter Celebration at the Walnut Street YMCA. Advance registration is required.

Big Screen Movie Night
Bring your family out to a big screen movie showings(TBA) in the Longwood Room. Families are asked to bring a dessert to share. The YMCA will provide popcorn. Be sure to bring a blanket to stretch out on.

Responsible Fatherhood Program
“Promoting Positive Awareness of the Roles of Fathers”
An 8-week life skills certificate program designed to address the issues and problems of fatherhood. Developed by: Father’s Day Gala, Inc.
