Pilates
A unique method of strengthening and stretching exercises that focus on the “powerhouse,” the abdominals, hips, lower back and buttocks. Developed more than 90 years ago by Joseph Pilates for dancers, the exercises strengthen and tone muscles, improve posture, giving you a longer, leaner look, promote flexibility and balance and unite body and mind. We offer Pilates Mat Basics (GREAT FOR BEGINNERS) as well as Pure Pilates for intermediate and advanced students:

Pilates Mat Basics
Will familiarize you with foundation Pilates work. Each session consists of 7 one-hour classes.

Pure Pilates
For those who already have a grasp of basic Pilates movements either through one-on-one Pilates training on the apparatus or via the Pilates Mat Basics course. Each session consists of 7 one-hour classes.

Bellydancing
Many people are surprised to learn that Middle-Eastern Dance, commonly known as “belly-dance,” involves much more than the belly! In fact, belly-dance can benefit many parts of the body. Here are some of the health benefits of Middle-Eastern Dance: Exercising the carrying muscles without impact, building the back muscles evenly, exercising the arms and aiding digestion

Yoga Express
Yoga Express is an invigorating Yoga workout. This class will focus on the breath, flowing standing and seated postures, followed by a final relaxation period. Each session consists of 7 one-hour class es. Takes place at Central YMCA.

Yogilates
combines the best of both Yoga and Pilates. This 45-minute class will energize you and keep you motivated. Each session consists of 7 one-hour classes.

Yoga Flow
Based on the Eastern tradition, our yoga classes focus on
unifying the body, breath and spirit. All classes feature
breathing and centering exercises followed by standing and seated yoga postures. Class concludes with a final relaxation and meditation period. Each session consists of 7 one-hour classes.

Core Fusion
Integrate core-strengthening Pilates movements with muscle-lengthening yoga poses and total-body fitness drills.  Tone, strengthen, and stretch your entire body
