Through the YMCA's doors come men looking for a new start. As members of our YMCA community, residents live in a caring and supportive environment. Here YMCA residents find a room of their own become available for YMCA health & wellness programs, counseling, assistance and training to increase job readiness as well as interpersonal skills.

Who is eligible?
Housing is provided for all men, ages 18 & older who meet DSHA income eligibilty guidelines (earning less than 50% of the Delaware median income) and who are not full time students

Central YMCA Residence Rooms Include:
• A bed, dresser, built-in desk, refrigerator and closet
• All utilities are included
• All rooms equipped with A/C
• Local phone service provided (must provide own phone)
• Some rooms equipped with Satellite TV
• Shared bathrooms and showers on each floor
• Microwave cooking and dishwashing facilities on each floor
• Access to coin-operated laundry facilities
• Free full-privilege YMCA membership
• Trash removal daily
• Maid service provoided weekly
• Towel service provided daily
• Bed linens provided upon rental of unit

Contact our Residence Director at (302) 571-6950. An application nust be complted including financial information disclosure and credit check. There is an application fee and a security/key deposit upon lease signing. Rent payments can be made on a monthly or weekly basis.
