SMART START
We want to help you get started or re-energized on your fitness journey with SMART Start. This program is designed to be helpful and fun. During these one-on-one sessions, a Wellness Professional will work with you to establish a plan to achieve your unique needs and goals. We’ll help personalize your orientation to the Wellness Center and other programs, so that you can make the most of your valuable time while at the YMCA. We believe that if you take the time to invest in yourself by participating in this program, you will be more successful as you achieve a healthier and more balanced life. Massage
Therapeutic full-body massage is available with Glenda Tyler, a Delaware Licensed Massage Therapist who is certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. She will be offering Monday Appointment Times at 4:00pm, 5:30pm and 7:00pm. Prepaid non-refundable reservations are required; please make reservations at the Central Membership Services Desk.

fitness boxing
Burn Fat, Build Muscle & Condition Your Total Body
Fitness boxing will make you stronger and improve your aerobic endurance. Learn the elements of boxing in a fun and challenging fitness based session. Our boxing training provides a full body workout and will increase muscle tone, lower body fat, improve reflexes and upper body strength. It’s also a great social outlet for people of all ages and walks of life. You’ll never experience exercise like this. Bring your gloves, plenty of water and lots of attitude.

TRX Training Classes
Get in on one of the fastest growing fitness trends around!! TRX Training will offer you everything you’ve been looking for in a strength training program. Whether you are a beginner or an elite athlete, our TRX Training programs will help you achieve your desired health and wellness goals using your own body weight. The program is based on timed sets as opposed to target repetitions. The goal is to complete as many repetitions with good form in the allotted time as possible. As skill and fitness increases, you will be able to complete more repetitions in the time allowed.

Advanced TRX Strength Training

This 7 week performance enhancement program will deliver increased muscular power and endurance without adding bulk. This program focuses on the often neglected muscle groups including hamstrings, back and core in order to improve strength, stability and flexibility.

TRX Fitness Training
