Personalized
Home Visits:
YMCA Camp Tockwogh would like to share its amazing camp
experience with you right in the comfort of your own home.
If you cannot make it down to camp for a tour of the facilities
before the summer camp session starts, consider allowing
one of our experienced camp directors the opportunity
to bring the information to you. That’s right!!
Dale and Matt are hitting the road and would like to add
your home to their tour. Imagine gathering a few of your
friends together for a light dinner, provided by YMCA
Tockwogh. During the presentation, you’ll get to
see photos of camp, learn about the daily activities,
and ask as many questions as you’d like. For more
information, or to set up an in-home visit, contact Dale
Whittaker (Land Activities Director) at dwhittaker@ymcade.org
or at 410-348-6000.

is no better way to enjoy the Chesapeake’s ecology
than in the cockpit of one of our kayaks. Bald Eagles,
Great Blue Heron, Egrets, Orioles, Red foxes, white-tailed
deer, beavers, and Osprey are just a few members of our
local wildlife to enjoy. We will paddle at a different
site each day to demonstrate the great diversity in the
waterways of the Chesapeake, and enjoy what each has to
offer. You will learn the basics of sea kayaking while
learning about the history, biology, and environmental
issues of the Chesapeake Bay. Come and learn a fun new
sport while enjoying the natural setting the Chesapeake
has to offer.
