Staff
We
hope you are excited for a new experience in the United
States. We want to make sure it is a great one, so here
are some things to help you along
Things to Note:
- We
provide your bed linens, pillow and towels and they
will be ready when you arrive
- Women:
You may only wear one-piece bathing suits while on camp.
Please be sure to buy a few if you don't have any.
- Men:
Please bring swim shorts/board shorts, you can not wear
speedos/bikini bottoms
- We
have a safe to keep your cash, passport and other important
paperwork in
- Bring
something special from home, like your country flag
or a native recipe to cook during a staff get together.
Transportation:
ICCP, CCUSA or BUNAC; it doesn't matter which
agency you use, they should help you along with this process.
Depending
on where you are coming from you will probably fly into
New York or Los Angeles. From there, please make arrangements
to fly to the following airports. If you are coming into
New York, travel by bus or train to the below station.
If you ask, your agency will help you find travel from
New York to Wilmington, Delaware.
Please
try to arrive during reasonable hours from around 8am
to 8pm our time. Please verify arrival dates with a Camp
Director before booking your flights. Once you have made
your travel arrangements please email the information
to us so we can make sure someone is there to pick you
up.

Please
be sure to keep your bus or ticket receipt so we can pay
you back when you get to camp
When
you arrive at the airport or station we will be waiting
with a Camp Tockwogh sign and a big smile. When you arrive
we may not immediately be there do to traffic or a late
start, so grab a seat and we will be there shortly. If
for some reason there is trouble with your flight, or
you can't find us, please call camp at 1-800-331-CAMP
from any phone and our staff will find help for you.
