Responsibilities: |
Responsible
for the group of campers in the canoeing program while under his/her
instruction. Must be able to comprehend the needed skills
in canoeing, follow a lesson plan and relate the needed material
to the campers through an organized means. This staff member
must have some basic knowledge of teaching skills and techniques.

Skills and/or Certifications: |
Ability
to complete the following training: Ellis Lifeguard. Must
me able to demonstrate the basic strokes; alternating strokes,
draw, push, sweep, reverse and J-stroke.
This staff member must be proficient in canoeing knowledge
and have basic teaching skills for classroom work. |
