Join us for an evening out at the Western Family YMCA on Friday, May
9th. Full members can sign up to attend the premiere of BODYPUMP 65
and/or a special BODYSTEP Demo Class! We will offer extended Kids
Zone hours until 9pm for the evening.

Registration is free and will begin on May 5th. Register at the Welcome
Center in person or by phone. Sign up for any class, but be sure to arrive 10
minutes early the night of the class to secure your spot. A limited number of
spots will be available for Drop Ins the night of the event.

Cycling 101 [01195]
This class will teach the basics in bike maintenance, proper cycling techniques and how to get the most from your cycling workout. After the clinic you will be able to do basic tune ups, changing tires and lubing of your bicycle. Please bring your bike for the maintenance portion of the class. Limited to 8 people

Are you a group exercise participant? Have you thought about leading your own group exercise class? We can help you get started...Join the “Fitness Instructor Training Course” offered here at Western. The course runs for five (5) Wednesdays, 7:00-9:30pm, April 30 - May 28, 2008. Learn the basics of how to teach group exercise...basic warm-up, basic aerobics, basic strength and endurance exercises, and basic flexibility exercises as well as fitness instructor leadership skills. The course combines theory with practical; you get actual experience teaching. If you teach for Western, you will receive a 50% reimbursement after 2 sessions of teaching.
