Planning for the future:
For more than 116 years the YMCA of Delaware has been dedicated to building strong kids, strong families and strong communities. Over those years many individuals have been committed to the mission and good work of the YMCA. For many that commitment extends beyond their own lifetime through planned gifts from their estate.

The YMCA Heritage Society:
An individual that commits a planned gift, of makes a contribution to a current YMCA endowment fund, is honored by the YMCA as a Heritage Society Member. Members of our YMCA Heritage Society are invited annually to a dinner event and will receive several special release YMCA publications.

  • To make an outright gift in cash, stock or securities to a current YMCA endowment fund, click on the “Contribute to an existing Endowment Fund” located above. Once here you will be given the opportunity to choose from over 40 existing Endowments.

  • If you’re considering naming your own Endowment gift, creating a charitable remainder trust, a charitable gift annuity, or naming the YMCA in your life insurance policy, please contact the Delaware Community Foundation.
