            <font color="#000000" size="1">Gordon previously was the coordinator of a Big Brothers-type program and an investigator for the Ocean County Probation Department in New Jersey before turning his attention to public relations work.  </font></em></font></p>
            <p><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">He has worked for the United Methodist Homes of New Jersey, Lincoln University, the New Castle County Department of Libraries, Delmarva Power, and the University of Delaware. Gordon also has taught English Composition at Delaware Technical &amp; Community College. He joined the YMCA of Delaware in 2003. </font></p>
            <p><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">He received his B.A. degree in English and Fine Arts from Clemson University in South Carolina and studied the Organization and Management of Volunteer Programs on the masters level at the University of Alabama.</font></p>
            <p><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Gordon is a writer, editor and a photographer. Among his responsibilities is production of the semi-annual YMCA of Delaware newsletter, Mission, and other publications as well as media relations and special events planning.</font><font color="#990000" size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><em>            </em></font></p>
