Fun, fun and more fun was the order of the day at Sussex Family YMCA Family Fun Day, July 20. Children of all ages were brought together to enjoy an evening of community spirit and entertainment. The event was a partnership between the YMCA and Higher Ed Assist.

Activities such as a dunk tank, bounce house, face painting, Gaga pit, volleyball, food vendors and community information booths were available for all to enjoy.

“The YMCA is a foundation of the community,” said Interim Executive Director/Senior Program Director James Botti. “This was a great opportunity to come together and partner up with Higher Ed Assist to have a great get together and have a great time.”

Higher Ed Assist bridges the gap between colleges and other higher education organizations and community organizations to bring them together for the benefit of both.
