SUMMARY:Dover YMCA Ninja Contest
DESCRIPTION:Put your speed\, agility\, and determination to the test while making a difference in your community! The YMCA Ninja Contest invites children ages 3–12 to race through a specially designed obstacle course for a chance to be crowned a 2026 YMCA Ninja Champion. \nParticipants are encouraged to wear fun\, safe\, themed costumes as they conquer the course\, while family and friends cheer them on from the sidelines. Awards will be presented to the top three fastest finishers in each age division\, as well as the top fundraising family. \nEvent Schedule (times are approximate and subject to change) \n\nOpen Ninja Gym | 5 – 6 p.m.\n\nWarm Ups\nNinja Demos\n\n\nNinja Contest | Races begin at 6 p.m.\n\nHeat 1: Ages 3-5\nHeat 2: Ages 6-9\nHeat 3: Ages 9-13\n\n\n\n*Participation in race is not required for demo participants \nRegistration: $20 per participant. DESCRIPTION:Join us in making a splash at the Dover YMCA’s Cardboard Boat Regatta! Families will engineer boats using only cardboard and duct tape\, then paddle the length of our pool in a thrilling race. This event fosters family togetherness and STEM-based learning\, with at-home activities leading up to the big day. Event proceeds help fund the Water Wise program\, aimed at preventing drowning and equipping children with essential water safety skills. \nRegister Today!\nThis event is open to the community. Registration is donation based with recommended $50 team entry. \nRegistration ends July 25th. They will be provided at home activities to foster family togetherness and STEM based learning.
