YMCA of Delaware Launches Teen Summer Fun Pass

Delaware – The YMCA of Delaware is excited to offer teens, ages 12-17, the opportunity to get their YMCA pass to summer fun for the upcoming season. The new Teen Summer Fun Pass will provide pass holders with access to a Y of Delaware location where they can work out in the state-of-the-art fitness center, join unlimited group exercise classes, cool off at the indoor or outdoor pool, or showcase their skills on the basketball court. YMCA Summer Fun Passes can be purchased for $45 now through June 30th by a parent or guardian.

“Providing a safe environment for teens to meet new friends, develop new skills and grow in a healthy setting is crucial for our communities,” said YMCA of Delaware CEO Jarrett Royster. “We’re all making up for lost time connecting to our peers due to the pandemic. The Y’s ability to offer a structured environment, while allowing space for self-exploration builds self-reliance and encourages the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.”

Activities for teens will be scheduled at YMCA of Delaware branches throughout the summer, varying by location. YMCA Teen Summer Fun Pass holders can visit their branch from June 12th through September 4, 2023, from 3 p.m. to close on weekdays, and open to close on weekends. Passes may only be used at the branch where they were purchased and are not valid at branches outside of the YMCA of Delaware. Limited quantities are available.

Interested teens can visit any YMCA of Delaware location with a parent/guardian to get started. For more information, visit www.ymcade.org/teen-summer-fun-pass
