Teen Summer Fun Pass will be available for purchase May 15 – June 30, 2023. Passes can only be purchased in the branch by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult with a valid State ID.

How do I register my teen for a Teen Summer Fun Pass?

The teen and a parent, guardian, or responsible adult can come to any YMCA of Delaware branch between May 15th and June 30th to enroll. Our membership staff will be happy to assist you with the process. The cost of this pass is $45 and must be paid at the time of registration. Valid ID is required to register.

Yes- the cost of this pass is $45 (one-time fee) and must be paid at the point of registration. The pass fee will not be prorated – the cost is $45 regardless of sign-up date. All fees are non-refundable.

I already have a family membership that includes my teen. Am I able to get a discount on this pass? Should I change my membership type?

No- the Teen Summer fun pass is not a typical membership. With the pass, teens are not able to visit all Y locations and they do not have unlimited access to the branch. It is also less expensive to keep your teen on your family membership.

Can teens who do not have the Teen Summer Fun Pass participate in the scheduled activities?

Teens who are members of the YMCA of Delaware have access to all Y programs, classes, and events, including Teen Summer Fun Pass activities. Non-members will not have access unless they purchase a Guest Pass, Teen Summer Fun Pass, or become a member.

Is participation in the scheduled activities mandatory?

Participation is not mandatory but is highly encouraged. Weekly scheduled activities vary by location and provide teens the opportunity to meet new friends, develop new skills and build self-reliance through the Y values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

Can my teen bring a friend with their Teen Summer Fun Pass?

Please refer to the YMCA of Delaware’s Guest Policy. All guests must be signed in by an adult.

Where did the Take on Summer initiative go?

Take on Summer is no longer available at the YMCA of Delaware. However, we are excited to now offer the Teen Summer Fun Pass. This program is designed to provide teens with a more structured environment that supports a positive, safe experience where they can meet new friends and have the best summer ever.
