On behalf of the YMCA of Delaware’s annual campaign, the Central YMCA invites the public to attend an evening called SIP. SAMPLE. SUPPORT. on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
The YMCA fundraising event will feature music, dancing, wine, beer, and food tasting, along with a silent auction. Some of the many silent auction items include:
- Wine tasting for 12
- A specialty beer basket flown in from Vermont
- Date Night-two tickets to a show at the Grand Opera House, and a $50 gift card to Farmer and the Cow.
Each year, the Central YMCA provides more than $1.5 Million in financial assistance to support vital programs that nurture the potential of children and teens, improve health, and impact change in the surrounding community. Proceeds from the event will ensure programs such as teen workforce development, summer camp, before and after school programming, LIVESTRONG and more, are widely accessible by all regardless of ability to pay.
“Join us for an evening of inspiration as we share a few stories of how we impacted the lives of youth in our community. You will have the opportunity to sample food and wines from local businesses and dance into the evening!” says Development and Member Engagement Director Christine Shiring.
Tickets are $40 per person, $75 for two. Free babysitting services will be available onsite so families are encouraged to attend.
