Search ProgramsLocated in Dover, Delaware, the Dover YMCA is the gym for fitness and family. With 2 indoor pools, an outdoor pool, sauna, child care while you work out, unlimited fitness classes, state-of-the-art equipment, a full-size basketball gym, and so much more, you will never want to leave!
Beginning January 7, 2023, weekend hours of operation for the Dover branch will be extended! The new schedule is as follows:
Monday – Friday: 5 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Saturday: 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday: 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Summer camp enrollment is open now for members and non-members!

Starting Friday, February 10th from 4:30-5:30 p.m., the Dover branch will offer weekly beginner Pickleball instructional classes!
These classes will be free of charge to members. Availability is on a first come, first serve basis.
Due to popular demand beginning Monday, March 6th we will offer a second weekly Beginner Pickleball instructional class on Mondays from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. These classes are free to members and available on a drop-in, first come, first serve basis (12 members maximum per class).

Join us for fitness, water, music, refreshments and raffles (including 50/50). Donations will be accepted to benefit the Dover Y Annual Campaign! This event is OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY.

Visit the YMCA at least 10 times in March, complete the March Madness Fitness Activities and you’ll get a free water bottle! *First come first serve, while supplies last Pick up an activity tracker at the Membership Desk.
Spring 2 program registration opens to members on Monday, 3/20 at 9 a.m. Non-member registration begins Monday, 3/27.

How long can you hold a wall sit? See a fitness center staff member to test your strength and endurance. The top male and female contenders will have their name displayed on the brag board!

Join us on St. Patrick’s Day for green smoothies in the lobby! The fitness team will also prepare and post a Lucky Leprechaun workout you won’t want to miss. You’ll earn a lucky charm upon its completion! See a Fitness Center staff member for details.

Single Parent Day takes place each year on March 21st. This is a day of celebration where we honor and applaud the hard work and sacrifices of single parents everywhere. If you are a single parent, stop by the Membership Desk to enter to win one of eight $50 Wawa gift cards!
