Extended Weekend Hours Starting in January

At the request of our members, starting in January we will be extending our hours on Saturdays from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sundays from 6 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Extended Kids Zone Hours Starting in January

We are happy to announce that starting in January, Kids Zone (ages 3 months – 11 years) will now be open on Wednesdays from 5 – 8 p.m.


Peak Hours Overflow Parking

Do not let parking be a deterrent to you achieving your fitness goals!

After 5 p.m., free parking is available at the Colonial Parking Lot across the street.


Swim Lessons: All Ages

The YMCA offers a wide range of opportunities to improve swimming skills, build confidence in the water, and teach personal safety.

Group and private lessons are available at both our Central and Walnut Street YMCA locations. Registration for our Spring 1 session is now open!

Spring 1 is a 6-week session which will begin on Monday, 2/26/2024 and conclude on Sunday, 4/14/2024 (no classes 3/29 – 3/31).

Y Mission Market

The Y Mission Market at the Central YMCA is a free store, open to community members, that aims to combat hunger and provide for those in need. The Market features shelf-stable and frozen food, clothes, and more. Donations were provided by local community members and partners. Anyone interested in supporting the Y Mission Market can bring donations to the Central YMCA front desk at any time.

CENTRAL YMCA POOL HOURS

Monday – Friday: 5 a.m. – 8:45 p.m.
Saturday: 6 a.m. – 5:45 p.m.
Sunday: 6 a.m. – 1:45 p.m.


KID ZONE HOURS

(Ages: 3 months – 11 years)
Tuesday: 5 – 8 p.m.
Wednesday: 5 – 8 p.m.
Thursday: 5 – 8 p.m.

PARKING

  • Free 2-hour parking is available in the Central YMCA lot to all members while using the YMCA facility. Parking is first come, first serve.  Your membership card will open the gate to the Y lot as you enter from Washington Street.
  • Ample metered parking is available on the streets around the YMCA
  • After 5 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends, members may park in DelleDonne Lot #1 at the corner of 11th and Jefferson (diagonally across from the Central Y’s playground).
