A Movement for Healthy Communities
Let’s Move Delaware is more than a series of events—it’s a statewide call to action for every Delawarean to embrace healthier living and strengthen community well-being. As the state’s leading nonprofit committed to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, the YMCA of Delaware reaches more than 120,000 youth and adults each year through programs that build healthier lifestyles and stronger communities. This includes over 1,000 individuals who participate annually in our evidence-based Community Health programs such as the Diabetes Prevention Program and LIVESTRONG at the YMCA for cancer survivors.
Proceeds from Let’s Move Delaware support the YMCA’s Open Doors Financial Assistance Program, which provides more than $5 million each year in membership and program scholarships. These funds ensure that individuals and families across Delaware can access the Y’s life-changing programs and resources.
