Y Teen Achievers

The Y Teen Achievers program is a national college readiness program designed to help all teens, currently enrolled in high school, set and pursue educational and career goals, raise their academic standards, develop a positive sense of self, explore diverse college and career options and connect them to professionals that inspire them to reach their potential. At the YMCA of Delaware, we connect program participants to members of the local business community to serve as mentors, preparing participants for future success.

The program meets weekly at the Walnut Street YMCA. The year culminates with an annual Achievers Banquet to honor the Youth and Adult Achievers and recognize Teen Achievers who are eligible for scholarships.
