Pickleball at the YMCA is a fun and social way to stay active, improve your skills, and connect with others in your community. Whether you’re picking up a paddle for the first time or looking for more opportunities to play, the YMCA offers welcoming programs for a variety of skill levels and ages.
From casual open play and beginner-friendly instructional classes to youth clinics and pop-up programs, there are plenty of ways to get involved year-round. Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong into a fast-paced game that is easy to learn, low impact, and enjoyable for players of all abilities.
With programs offered at YMCA locations across Delaware, players can enjoy friendly competition, build confidence on the court, and be part of a supportive and active community.
Open Play Pickleball
Our open play pickleball sessions give players the opportunity to enjoy casual games, meet new people, and get active in a supportive environment. Courts are available throughout the week at YMCA locations across Delaware, making it easy to find a time and place to play.

Pickleball Instructional Classes
Our pickleball instructional classes are designed to help players develop skills, improve technique, and gain confidence on the court. Led by experienced instructors, classes focus on fundamentals, game strategy, scoring, and court positioning in a fun and encouraging environment.
Levels: Beginner & Advanced Beginner
Session: 6 Weeks
Schedule: Meets once per week for one hour

Youth Pickleball
Introducing Kids to the Fastest Growing Sport
Youth pickleball programs at the YMCA help kids stay active while learning teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship. Pop-up classes and clinics are hosted periodically throughout the year and provide a fun introduction to the game in a supportive setting.
