Felton, DE- On Sunday, October 13, 2019, get ready, get set, for the Dover YMCA’s 2nd Annual 5K Run/Walk/Race through the beautiful grounds of the Pizzadili Winery located at 1683 Peach Basket Rd., Felton DE 18843. Bringing little ones? Select the one-mile walk with the family and enjoy the kid-friendly activities on site. Childcare will be provided to those who participate in the YMCA 5K run at no additional cost.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. for the 9 a.m. race, 10:30 a.m. for the one-mile walk and Kiddie Fun Run. There will be food, music, family activities, and of course, wine!

Pre-registration (by Sept. 30):
• $20 for individuals under 21/ race only.
• $25 for 5k event, wine glass and wine tasting for the racer.
Registration (after Sept 30):
• $30 for individuals under 21/race only.
• 35 for 5K event, wine glass, and wine tasting for the racer
Post-Race Barbecue event (includes hamburgers, hotdogs, salads, chips, and drinks):
• Additional $10 for post-event food per person
• Additional $30 for post-event food for the family
• Additional $5 for wine tasting per person
Pre-registered 5K participants will receive a complimentary T-shirt. Race day T-shirts will be available in limited quantities. Awards will be given for the top three male and female runners in 10 year age groups (under 9 through 70+). The award ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m.
Proceeds will benefit the Dover YMCA’s Annual Campaign to ensure the Y never has to turn away individuals or families due to financial hardships.
