RegisterLocated in Dover, Delaware, the Dover YMCA is the gym for fitness and family. With 2 indoor pools, an outdoor pool, a sauna, child care while you work out, unlimited fitness classes, state-of-the-art equipment, a full-size basketball gym, and so much more, you will never want to leave!
Join us in making a splash at the Dover YMCA’s Cardboard Boat Regatta! Families will engineer boats using only cardboard and duct tape, then paddle the length of our pool in a thrilling race. This event fosters family togetherness and STEM-based learning, with at-home activities leading up to the big day. Event proceeds help fund the Water Wise program, aimed at preventing drowning and equipping children with essential water safety skills.
This event is open to the community. Registration is donation based with recommended $50 team entry. Additional spectator tickets will be on sale on race day for a $5 donation.

YMCA Kids’ Club provides a secure, engaging space for children ages 6 weeks to 11 years while parents enjoy YMCA facilities. Available at most YMCA of Delaware locations, Kids’ Club offers fun activities tailored to every age group. Kids’ Club is a free service for members with Adult Plus Children memberships. Enjoy up to 2 hours of care per day—an incredible value of up to 60 hours of childcare each month, worth more than $900 per child!
