Nationwide Membership Period of Non-Reciprocity
During the summer season (May 1 through Labor Day), the Sussex Family YMCA does not honor Nationwide YMCA memberships or free 1-day passes. Visitors are welcome to purchase daily, weekly, or monthly passes at the front desk, and Nationwide members will receive a 50% discount on these passes.
Summer memberships will run only from June through August.
Kids’ Club
YMCA Kids’ Club provides a secure, engaging space for children ages 6 weeks to 11 years while parents enjoy YMCA facilities. Available at most YMCA of Delaware locations, Kids’ Club offers fun activities tailored to every age group. Kids’ Club is a free service for members with Adult Plus Children memberships. Enjoy up to 2 hours of care per day—an incredible value of up to 60 hours of childcare each month, worth more than $900 per child!

Teen Workforce Development
The Sussex Family YMCA in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware’s Teen Workforce Development program provides job readiness and life skills for girls ages 15-19. Positive opportunities are now available to adolescents within the Community. Contact Shannon for more information at [email protected].
Teens participate in workshops focusing on life skills and job readiness. Each participant will be placed into an internship within a partnering agency and/or the YMCA.
Teen Leadership Program
Unleash your potential with the YMCA Teen Leadership Program! Students will engage in activities designed to enhance cultural awareness, boost academic success, and foster community involvement, all while developing strong character rooted in the YMCA’s core values.
