YMCA To Host Fall Festivals Statewide

Free community events offer welcoming spaces for families to celebrate the season together

Wilmington, Delaware – This October, the YMCA of Delaware is bringing families and neighbors together for a series of free Fall Festivals at Y locations across the state.

From trunk-or-treating and costumes to games, crafts, music, inflatables, and more, each event offers its own lineup of seasonal activities. More importantly, the festivals give families a safe, welcoming place to enjoy Halloween and fall traditions together.

“At the Y, we want families to know there is a place in their community where they can come together, have fun, and feel like they belong,” said Jennifer McPherson, Sr. VP of Membership and Programs. “Our Fall Festivals are about more than costumes and candy. They’re an opportunity for families to connect with their neighbors, make memories, and enjoy the season in a positive, family-friendly environment.”

YMCA Fall Festivals are free and open to the community. YMCA membership is not required to attend.

Activities vary by location.
