Our CIT (Counselor-In-Training) program is designed to give teens the opportunity to work directly with campers, gain experience running camp programs, and further develop leadership skills with the goal of becoming a future YMCA camp counselor.

Day Camps

At our day camps participants sing songs, create arts and crafts, play music, swim, learn academic fundamentals, participate in storytelling and more. During our specialty camps we focus on STEM, sports, dance, art, cooking and more. Our day camps are offered at different locations across the state: Camp Cassey; Camp Quoowant; Camp Voyager; Camp Oowassis; Camp Opalanie; Camp Wassaqui; Camp Silver Lake

Overnight Camp

Our overnight camp, Camp Tockwogh, is a spectacular rural camp on 309 well-preserved acres spread over a mile and half along the Chesapeake Bay in Worton, MD. It provides a unique opportunity for campers to enjoy the great outdoors and new experiences including sailing, horseback riding, hiking and more.
